You've installed Corpus VR Personal on your Android phone. But, even though you have a reasonably new phone you experience frame rate issues. The reason for this can be that the Google VR settings are by default set on standard values, and thus aren't optimised specifically for your device.
Open Corpus VR Personal, put the screen in a horizontal position, but don't put it in the VR headset just yet. Then follow the next steps.
- Tap on the Settings icon (little cogwheel) in the upper right corner.
- In the settings screen, tap Headset
- Then select Google Cardboard in the category Cardboard. So DON'T select Google Cardboard (I/O 2015)
- Tap the back arrow in the upper left corner to return to Corpus VR Personal
Your screen can briefly blink or darken. Now you should have a smooth frame rate.
